The new website

Welcome to my website and to my first blog post! This is my first time writing something like this and publishing it on the internet so keep that in mind. :p

So I've decided to redesign my website since I didn't really like the old design and I think I did a pretty good job with the new one. As you can see, I switched from the old orange to a much nicer green-ish accent color and made this cool animated JS-less background using some CSS, I just hope that it's not too straining for some eyes out there.

This is my old design for reference:

I also experimented with this background but I didn't like that I had to use so much JavaScript and a canvas. I also found it very distracting while working on the other parts of the website:

This design was also intended with mobile devices in mind, but the mobile view is currently broken and I don't know why. My objective was only to get the new site up and running for now so I'll tackle this later. :)
